		<description>After reading your posting and discussing it with some friends, we all had to agree with your concept - in general.  It does seem that the US has very different ways of treating discrimination.  The ban on marriage would eliminate one form of discrimination, but would not eliminate the way people treat gays and lesbians who want to be married.

Unfortunately most other countries think we, as a country, are way behind.  Most other countries have already allowed same sex marriage without discrimination.

The US should take a lesson from them.</description>
